FEELINGS / MASKED NAKED / self-staging
A fallacy. When I disguise myself, when I wear a mask, when I alter my appearance, my nakedness cannot be seen by others.
The result of masking and the need of distance is also a form of isolation with oneself, which stimulates the preoccupation with one‘s own identity and creates fluctuating feelings: need for protection, mental and physical withdrawal. The desire not to be seen, the desire to show someone other than oneself, the desire to be naked. The feeling of being protected and at the same time exposed to the outside world.
