The idea of the series is based on format specifications set by social media applications. With the Pasta Towers, I am referring to the Instagram Story format with 1080 x 1920 pixels. In order to post a photo in full format without cropping or framing it, it must be created in this format. This circumstance changes our viewing habits and the way we photograph from landscape to portrait format. The motif - a plate of pasta - looks very small in this format. The motif must therefore be adapted to the format so that the object can be presented in a sufficiently large format.
